Barr. Abimbola Amusan Congratulates Defected National Assembly Members to APC; Says Oyebamiji is unstoppable in 2026

Barr. Abimbola Amusan has warmly congratulated the distinguished National Assembly members who recently defected to the All Progressives Congress at Freedom Park, Osogbo.

In his statement, Barr. Amusan commended the courage and foresight of Adenigba Fadahunsi, Oluwole Oke, and Sanya Omirin, describing their decision as a bold step toward progressive governance and inclusive development for Osun State and Nigeria at large.

Barr. Amusan noted that their defection reflects growing confidence in the APC’s reform-driven agenda and its commitment to people-centered policies. According to him, the steady influx of respected leaders into the party underscores the strength of its vision and the enabling environment created for national transformation.

He further emphasized that the move aligns with the renewed hope and strategic direction under the leadership of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whose administration continues to inspire confidence across party lines.

“As leaders who have served our people with dedication at the National Assembly, their experience, influence, and grassroots connection will further strengthen the APC and accelerate developmental strides in our constituencies,” Barr. Amusan stated.

He also extended appreciation to party faithfuls across Irewole/Ayedaade/Isokan Federal Constituency and the wider Osun political family for their unity, maturity, and warm reception accorded to the new entrants, describing it as a demonstration of the APC’s spirit of brotherhood and shared purpose.

Barr. Abimbola Amusan reaffirmed his commitment to progressive ideals and called for continued collaboration among party stakeholders to ensure sustainable growth, effective representation, greater opportunities for the people of Osun State, and most importantly the success of the APC and Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji in the August 2026 Gubernatorial Election.
