A global financial technology company, Vesti Technologies, has announced its flagship annual conference tagged Prosper Conference 2025 to spotlight excellence in innovation. The fintech firm disclosed this at a press briefing held at the company’s head office in Lagos.
Co-Founder and CEO of Vesti, Olusola Amusan, said Africa has always been a force in culture, business, and intellect. Yet for too long, African excellence has moved without the spotlight.
He noted that with the upcoming two-day conference, which will take place on Thursday, October 23, and Friday, October 24, 2025, at Landmark Event Centre in Lagos, that is about to change.
Olusola said: “It is a platform built to honour Africa’s historical excellence while equipping the next generation of builders, leaders, and visionaries for global relevance.
“The conference is expected to host over 1,500 entrepreneurs, investors, creatives, policymakers, and diaspora leaders from across Africa and around the world.
“It is organised by Vesti, a migration infrastructure company building for the next one billion immigrants.
“The Prosper Conference goes beyond business, it is a cultural and strategic convening designed to spotlight African brilliance across industries and generations, while opening new doors to collaboration, visibility, and capital.
“This year’s experience will feature thought-led keynote conversations, a curated innovation exhibition, and an awards ceremony recognising individuals and institutions that have shaped and sustained African progress across sectors.”
According to Olusola: “The Prosper Conference is about recognition with intention. It is our way of saying thank you to those who paved the way for others, and here’s to the future we are building next.
“It is where heritage meets innovation, where the past is honoured and the future is funded.”
Also speaking on the significance of the conference, Co-Founder and Chief Operations Officer at Vesti, Abimbola Amusan, said: “Our most outstanding greatness often comes when we dare to move into new territories, embrace leadership, and invest back home.
“At Vesti, that’s the story we champion, equipping migrants and founders to see relocation not just as escape, but as a strategy for impact.“With Prosper, Vesti is staging a new kind of gathering that brings together innovators, creatives, professionals, and policymakers in one room, one that reflects the ambition of a continent with dexterity and the influence of its people,” Abimbola added.
